Life of a cougar warrior

The mud on my face is soil.
OUR SOIL.

Training to be a solider.
To fight for our land.
Once in our lives,
Two years of our time.
Have you ever wondered
Why must we serve ?
Because we love our land,
And we want it to be free.
To be FREE!!

"Whole lot knock it down!"
*Clap Clap. COUGAR!

Green is da colour.

The countdown clock stands at less than 30hrs before enlistment. I have to admit time really flew It seems like only yesterday when I started the countdown 2 weeks ago. If you ask me whether I'm ready for NS or not, my reply to you is I never will be ready. Physically, BMT should be a breeze but its the mental barrier that I cant seems to overcome. The thought of being stranded on an island for weeks with strangers really turns me off. No soccer, no computer, no scented pillow of mine, no close frens only makes it more discouraging. To sum it all up, I just got this tinge of unfinished buisness that is preventing me from looking forward to 2years of army life.

Today is indeed an unforgettable day for me. A day more than worthy of being a finale that marks the end of 18 years of civilian life at least for awhile. It was a day filled of activites that can be labelled as my last time for the coming months.

Thanks for the swensens lunch treat.
I will return the treat when I get my peanut pay from SAF.
Thanks for the night street bola session. Smell ya all in Tekong.

Thank you all once again, you peeps really made my day. With that, I'm now abit more geared for the journey as a NSman. Its because of people like you all that makes all the trainings worthwhile. Its because of the people whom we love and treasure that makes it all worth fighting for. Onward!!

Conversation of the day:
A: "Ehh boy, your gf very cute ah ?"
B: "Yeahh I also find my Good Friend very cute too. " *gives A the charming smile.

This is very likely to be my last entry before enlistment and it could jolly well be another few weeks before I pop by here again to shed some light on my very own army experience. Until then, take care peeps and cya ard soon.

Yi Xin signing off.

The geography of Men and Women.

I saw this joke on a forum and it really tickles me. No offence to any member of both sexes and countries man. Its all in the name of fun! =)

The Geography of a Woman

Between the ages of 18 - 21 a woman is like Africa or
Australia. She is half discovered, half wild and naturally
beautiful with bushland around the fertile deltas.

Between the ages of 21 - 30 a woman is like America or
Japan. Completely discovered, very well developed and open
to trade especially with countries with cash or cars.

Between the ages of 30 - 35, she is like India or Spain.
Very hot, relaxed and convinced of its own beauty.

Between the ages of 35 - 40 a woman is like France or
Argentina. She may have been half destroyed during the war
but can still be a warm and desirable place to visit.

Between the ages of 40 - 50 she is like Yugoslavia or Iraq.
She lost the war and is haunted by past mistakes. Massive
reconstruction is now necessary.

Between the ages of 50 - 60 she is like Russia or Canada.
Very wide, quiet and the borders are practically
unpatrolled but the frigid climate keeps people away.

Between the ages of 60 - 70 a woman is like England or
Mongolia. With a glorious and all conquering past but alas
no future (a bit like Tony Blair, maybe Blair's a woman
really).

After 70, they become Albania or Afghanistan. Everyone
knows where it is, but no one wants to go there.

The Geography of a Man

Between the ages of 15 - 70 a man is like Zimbabwe - ruled
by a dick.

*Enlisting soon
