Green is da colour.

The countdown clock stands at less than 30hrs before enlistment. I have to admit time really flew It seems like only yesterday when I started the countdown 2 weeks ago. If you ask me whether I'm ready for NS or not, my reply to you is I never will be ready. Physically, BMT should be a breeze but its the mental barrier that I cant seems to overcome. The thought of being stranded on an island for weeks with strangers really turns me off. No soccer, no computer, no scented pillow of mine, no close frens only makes it more discouraging. To sum it all up, I just got this tinge of unfinished buisness that is preventing me from looking forward to 2years of army life.

Today is indeed an unforgettable day for me. A day more than worthy of being a finale that marks the end of 18 years of civilian life at least for awhile. It was a day filled of activites that can be labelled as my last time for the coming months.

Thanks for the swensens lunch treat.
I will return the treat when I get my peanut pay from SAF.
Thanks for the night street bola session. Smell ya all in Tekong.

Thank you all once again, you peeps really made my day. With that, I'm now abit more geared for the journey as a NSman. Its because of people like you all that makes all the trainings worthwhile. Its because of the people whom we love and treasure that makes it all worth fighting for. Onward!!

Conversation of the day:
A: "Ehh boy, your gf very cute ah ?"
B: "Yeahh I also find my Good Friend very cute too. " *gives A the charming smile.

This is very likely to be my last entry before enlistment and it could jolly well be another few weeks before I pop by here again to shed some light on my very own army experience. Until then, take care peeps and cya ard soon.

Yi Xin signing off.
